[...] So yesterday was the big hairdressing appointment. Ok, sounds a little dramatic, but it was decision time to fringe or not to fringe. In case you missed the first installment, Fringe Benefits, you can read it HERE. [...]

I used to change my hair all the time... new colour, new style, long, short... I too have wavy/curly/frizzy hair, and have been wearing it straight for a few months, but bored now. I'd go with Clo's suggestion, and get a long fringe, then go the big chop later. Looking forward to seeing what happens next week!

Everytime you get a fringe cut you grow it out, but you are lucky that both suit you and it doesn't take long to grow out if you decide on a fringe. Looking forward to seeing the outcome on the 27th. Kylie has great ideas.

I actually think it would look good on you with blonde hair. Although, you could sit on the fence and get a 'long' fringe - still a fringe but you need to brush it aside a little - See how you like that, then chop the rest off if you want to.

Thanks Jodie. The last time I had a fringe I had black hair, and it was too heavy for my relatively pale skin! Will definitely have a chat with my hairdresser who is also a good friend and will definitely tell me the truth whether it would look good or not! Stay tuned for the pic next week!!

Ami - I went thru this same predicament before my last haircut. Get a fringe? Or not? In the end, I didn't, because Hubby wasn't convinced on it, and neither was I, so I took the safe option! But I STILL think sometimes that a fringe might be good. A few friends have had one cut in recently, and they look younger, hipper. But then, you're obviously not as old as what I am, so you don't have to worry about that! Looking at your photo, I think it could look very nice on you. Speak to your hairstylist and see if they have any photos of someone with a similar face shape etc so you can get a better idea. At the end of the day, it'll grow back if you don't like it!! Good luck, and an updated photo after it's done would be appreciated!
