Day 14

Day 14

Day 14, and another gorgeous spring day! Shame there’s wet weather forecast for the rest of the week.

Wearing today super comfy Katies pants, Kmart top and Nine West slides.

Comfy and casual to start getting organised for Harry’s party this weekend!

So before I show you my purchases from my shopping trip with the mini me, shall we announce the Jamberry prize pack winner…!

CONGRATULATIONS…. Alana

We’ll be in touch soon via email to organise delivery of your prize. Thanks so much to everyone who entered. Stay tuned for a couple more giveaways!

Onto the shopping… Over the last few years I’ve hated shopping. I know, I know, hate is a strong word and that’s a big statement…! But once you’ve got kids and your shape changes, I’d rather shop for them than for me.

But what I’ve realised is that I’m never going to be the size I was 6 years ago (without a lot of exercise that I don’t have time for!) so I’m just going to roll with what I’ve got, mummy tummy rolls, thunder thighs and all.

I desperately needed new shorts after buying some last summer, only a few months after having Harry, they are now too big. I’m hoping these 3 new pairs will be enough ‘staples’! I found that the shorts out the season are much more forgiving around your thighs too, which is great when you have bigger legs like me. Even though they’re above the knee, I didn’t feel ridiculous as they weren’t tight at all.

Shopping... What Mum bought!

Shopping… What Mum bought!

L-R shorts: Chambray and black pair from Country Road, and the blue linen pair from Jeanswest. All were on sale!

L-R top row: Chambray shirt dress from Witchery. I nearly didn’t try this on as I always find them too short, but Sophie said to me, I like it mum try it on! And so I did, and for a nice change it was a perfect length!

Navy t-shirt from Country Road. I really wanted a white one too, but I find it so frustrating that they’re see-through.

White and navy stripe top from Jeanswest.

I feel like I still need a few more basic tees but first I’ll do a cull of what I have hidden in the wardrobe from last year.

See you tomorrow!
