Curse you for being one of those people that looks fantastic as both a blonde AND a brunette!

I’ve never been big on hair changes. I think they scare me too much. I’ve wanted to try going blonde since Jessica Alba did it a few years ago but I think the maintenance would drive me insane (and broke!). The furthest I’ve gone is a few caramelly highlights. xx

I’ve never been into colouring my hair, but I have experimented with length.

I had it cut REALLY short and kept that going for about five years. But I’m now growing it out again, which is so annoying – it’s still all different lengths, but I’m getting there. Having short hair for so long, I just started craving having the ability to brush it and tie back or do pretty things with it.

Oooh Dana scully red jodie!! Now that’s brave! What a shame u couldn’t keep the colour! Eek no hair colouring when pregnant would have been hard!! I’ve already checked for future reference with my hairdresser!! Apparently coz I don’t have colour painted on my scalp it’s all ok.

You’ll have to dig up some red hair pics for us!! x

Thanks Belinda!! I’ve been many colours too including so dark brown it might as well have been black as well as red, brown with purple streaks & of course blonde! For now I’m enjoying being a brunette but probably after our trip I’ll no doubt want some more blonde in there!

The great thing about this colour is it’s a semi so it’ll slowly wash out and fade to a certain extent so it’ll be easier to go back to blonde. Maybe u could go darker for winter in a few months. You’ll have to post pics if u do it!!

I went red once. Think: Dana Scully X-Files red. And you know what? I LOVED it. So did Hubby and everyone else. But the next time I got them to do it, they couldn’t get the colour right. So I was dark red/auburn, then almost brown, then another shade of red. I gave up and went back to blonde. Then when I was pregnant I stopped colouring my hair altogether (I think it’s fine to do it – I was just paranoid!), so for almost 6 or more years I was just a mousy colour. Not interesting at all! I love colours. I like a couple of different streaks too.

When I was younger I experimented between dark blonde, light blonde, red, white blonde (and I mean my hair was WHITE – and it wasn’t nice!!), blonde with black streaks (skunk-like), blonde with purple, blonde with red, and the list goes on….
BUT I have never ever been a brunette! It is something I would love to do though, but I am a little scared of the time it’d take to go back light blonde again if I don’t like it (or miss being blonde!)..
Do you love it? Do you miss being blonde? I will, in some point in my life, must try the dark side…
